Thank you for your patience while we navigate this new normal. Unfortunately, due to COVID concerns, the Vermont Farmers Market Board has decided the safest thing to do is to cancel this year’s in-person craft fairs. These shows are typically held the second Saturdays in November and December at the Holiday Inn in Rutland. We will secure the same dates for 2021 and hope that everything is cleared up by then. I will be sure to reach out to everyone next year and let you know when the 2021 vendor application is live on our website.
Due to the popularity of these shows, we didn’t want to cancel them all together, so we have created a great opportunity for you to access the over 4,400 people who follow the Vermont Farmers Market on social media. We are thrilled to introduce, and invite you to participate in, our VIRTUAL CRAFT FAIRS this holiday season!
WHEN: These virtual fairs will occur November 14th and December 12th from 9am-4pm, just like the in-person shows.
WHERE: The Vermont Farmers Market FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM.
HOW: We will blast our social media on show days sharing your products and businesses with our 4,400+ followers. Customers will then reach out to you directly to learn more and purchase. This information will stay on our social feeds so that shoppers can see it anytime. In addition, we will advertise the virtual craft shows in our print advertising and list you on our website directory.
FEES: $50 total = $25- 2020 Vermont Farmers Market Membership (if you haven’t paid already) and $25 to participate in BOTH the November and December virtual shows.
The folks that want to shop local are still out there and we need to give them what they want, YOU!
