Maya Zelkin Pottery

I produce functional wood fired stoneware and porcelain pottery at my studio in Shrewsbury VT. Ferment crocks, berry bowls, teapots,, butter keepers, nesting bowls, mugs,tumblers, and many more useful pieces for the kitchen, I also offer a limited line of specialty food products made with homegrown or locally grown ingredients. Including sauerkraut, Kim chi, whole corn tortillas, salsa Verde, and mole negro. Returning to my roots as a student of the fine arts, in recent years I have created oil paintings, mostly inspired by forms  found in nature such as shells, flowers, and gourds, which also provide inspiration for my ceramic forms.
